Security Guard FIRED After Calling Cops on Auditor – It BACKFIRED!

A security guard at a public library tried to enforce a fake rule, claiming a man could not wear a hood while lawfully recording. When the man calmly declined – because it’s not a law – the situation escalated fast.

The security guard insisted it was policy,” attempted to remove the auditor, smacked the camera out of his hands, and called the police.

That turned out to be a huge mistake. Police arrived, confirmed the man was lawfully recording in a public space, and allowed him to continue. The security guard’s actions were later reviewed – and he was fired.

Recording in a public library is protected activity. Wearing a hood is not a crime. And “policy” does not override the Constitution.
